SKIRT is a boutique for women and girls. It can be found on Newcastle's Highbridge - a little cobbled street in the heart of the city filled with independent music and clothing shops.
SKIRT boutique sells cool, unusual clothes and accessories. Alongside designer labels such as ANIPODIUM, Paul and Joe Sister and Ella Moss, Skirt stocks a number of smaller labels from Europe and the UK, as well as vintage, one off and handmade pieces.
There are never more than three or four of any item so you are guaranteed something special.

New Arrivals for Spring (February 21st, 2008)
Some great new pieces have now arrived to kick off the Spring Season, L&W blouses and Antipodium dresses, as well as a few pieces from Paul and Joe Sister, and there’s plenty more to be added over the next few days. Please feel free to send an email for more images or info on any of these gorgeous pieces.
There is still time to pick up a bargain as the winter sale continues.

Autumn/Winter 07 (September 3rd, 2007)
New season labels include Antipodium, Paul and Joe Sister, Cheap Monday denim and Farabella, with lots more on the way. L & W have produced another amazing range of dresses and blouses and the most gorgeous navy coat I’ve seen.

Summer at SKIRT (June 19th, 2007)
The summer weather may not have arrived quite yet but there are absolutely tonnes of summer dresses now available at SKIRT for when that Sunshine does appear. Favourites include Gold mini dress from Danish label Modstrom or huge butterfly print smock dress from Ivana Helsinki - this would take you right through the Autumn too.
New for Spring (March 4th, 2007)
The new collections from Tatty Devine have now arrived in store, the flower petal range is perfect with a simple vest or a summer tunic and the Disco honeycomb range is fabulous for a night out.
New Danish label Lundgren and Windinge will appear online this week, beautiful blouses, cool dresses and simple t-shirts make up the gorgeous understated range.
